#PrEPSaves Maxx

“Is this for me? I’m a person who loves both cis and transgender women openly and lovingly, but I didn’t see PrEP marketed to me.”

Maxx did not see PrEP marketed to him, but learned about long-acting injectable PrEP through a study. Even after accessing PrEP through the study, he was uncertain about his ability to continue accessing long-acting injectable PrEP at the study’s end.

“I did run into, who can I go to? Luckily I was able to find a program at Grady [Hospital]. Having a National PrEP Program where folks can have a one-stop shop to get PrEP and learn more about it will be helpful to myself and my community.”

Hear more of Maxx’s story, and how a National PrEP Program can spread awareness of how to get PrEP through demand creation activities such as community-led campaigns.
