National PrEP Program
Our goal has always been the same: create a National PrEP Program to make HIV prevention medication accessible to everyone who needs it.
In July, 2018, PrEP4All released a whitepaper outlining the urgent need for a National PrEP Program to immediately address significant disparities in uptake of HIV PrEP. Four years later, The Biden Administration’s FY23 Budget requested nearly $10 billion to fund a PrEP for All to End the HIV Epidemic program. This program, a direct result of our initial proposal, could increase PrEP access for hundreds of thousands of people across the country.
To achieve equitable access, PrEP4All and advocates are pressing for:

Got health insurance?
Your PrEP care should be free!
As of June 30, 2020, most health insurers are required to cover the cost of PrEP, clinical care, and lab visits with no cost sharing. This means no copays, coinsurance, or deductibles for medication and essential support services, including provider visits, labs, HIV and STI screenings, pregnancy tests, and adherence counseling.
However, some insurers have yet to comply. These costs can be a major barrier to those in need of PrEP. If you’re still being charged, click on the right to get in touch so we can help address the problem.
